Our premium Peat-Free Easy Houseplant Compost combines coconut coir with slow-release Plantsmith nutrients to feed houseplants for up to 6 months. Compressed into a block, it’s easy to activate – just add water to make up to 10 litres of nutrient-rich compost. Ideal for potting or repotting your houseplants. Suitable for most houseplants except orchids, cacti, and bonsai.
Usage
- To make 10 litres of compost, place the whole block in a large tub or bucket.
- Add approx. 4 litres of water (warm water will work faster) and let it soak in.
- Mix to loosen and add more water if needed.
- When ready, it should be moist but springy.
- To make 5 litres of compost, halve the block and add approx. 2 litres of water.
- Excess compost can be stored in a lidded box for future use.

Our premium Peat-Free Easy Houseplant Compost contains the perfect balance of coconut coir (a by-product of the coconut industry) blended with slow-release Plantsmith nutrients to feed and nourish houseplants for up to six months. Designed for the widest range of houseplants, it’s suitable for everything except orchids, cacti and bonsai trees.
The compost is compressed into a convenient block and is easy to activate, just add water to make up to 10 litres of nutrient-rich compost for healthy houseplants.
Use this mix when potting or repotting. Most houseplants benefit from repotting every 18 months, or when their old soil begins to deteriorate. For best results, repot early in the year, ideally before spring.

Can I pre-order an item that is sold out?

Do you store my payment details on file?
We do not store any of your payment details on our site. During a transaction all of your data is fully encrypted whilst being sent to the payment processor. We use stripe.com to process your payments. Stripe is a trusted leader within the industry.
How long will delivery take?
Orders are usually processed and delivered within 3-5 working days.
We process orders for despatch up to midday Mon-Fri. Orders received after 12pm will be processed the next day and any orders received after 12pm on Friday will be processed on Monday.
