Our Mission
Our mission is to demystify houseplant care for all. Houseplants have been shown to help with mental and physical wellbeing and we believe that everybody should be able to enjoy the benefits of sharing their home with healthy, happy, vibrant plants. Our knowledge spans over 40 years of experience in horticulture and we have designed our products to be as effective, and easy-to-use, as possible, helping everyone to achieve growing success.
Sustainability
Sustainability and the planet are important to us. Our amber glass bottles are reusable and recyclable. We have also recently introduced a brand new Eco Refill Bottle which is made from a plant-based polymer, sourced from a waste product of sugar cane, plus recycled materials. Our ingredients are 100% vegan with no animal ingredients or by-products and all of our oils are Leaping Bunny certified cruelty free.

Nick Jackson
Founder
Nick has spent the past seven years working alongside his dad selling garden care products. Living in London sparked his love for houseplants — but frustration with the products on offer led him to develop something better. Teaming up with his dad, he created Plantsmith to give indoor plants the expert care they deserve.
Richard Jackson
Horticultural Expert
Richard has worked in horticulture for over 40 years. From running garden centres to hosting TV shows, he’s dedicated his life to helping people grow. He’s the only person to receive both the Garden Media Guild and Garden Retail Lifetime Achievement Awards — a testament to his passion, experience, and lasting impact on gardening.
Debi Holland
Horticultural Expert
Debi is an RHS-trained horticulturist with a background in art, design and media. She works as a professional gardener and writer, regularly contributing to print and online publications. A passionate houseplant collector and wellbeing advocate, she spends her spare time hiking and exploring wild landscapes to discover plants and fungi in their natural habitats.
